Yes — parents register with their email and create a password. This gives them a secure dashboard to book sessions, track their child's progress, and view tutor notes.

How do session packages work?

You create packages (e.g. "8-Session Pack — $140"). Parents buy one via Stripe. Each booking automatically deducts one session. When they're running low, TutorSentry alerts them to buy more.

Can I use CashApp or Venmo instead of Stripe?

Yes. In Settings, switch the payment model to "Direct to Tutor." Parents see your CashApp and Venmo QR codes at checkout and pay you directly. No Stripe account required.

Is the parent portal really bilingual?

Yes. Every parent-facing page has an EN/ES toggle. One click switches the full interface to Spanish — booking flow, confirmations, package pages, and session notes.

How does the tutor availability template work?

Set a tutor's weekly schedule once (e.g. Mon/Wed 3–5pm, Fri 2–4pm). Then pick a date range and click Generate — TutorSentry creates every open slot automatically, skipping any that already exist.

What does the tutor report show?

For any date range and tutor: every student seen, subject taught, session date and time, duration, and status. Summary shows total sessions and hours. Exports to CSV for payroll in one click.

Can parents cancel their own sessions?

Yes, up to 24 hours before the session. The session credit is automatically returned to their package balance. Cancellations inside 24 hours require them to contact the school directly.
